Katya Bryskina (b. 1988, St. Petersburg) is an architect and artist. She holds a Master in Emergent Technology and Design from the Architectural Association School of Architecture (London, U.K.). She participated in “The New Normal” think-tank at Strelka Institute (Moscow, Russia) and is a resident at SPACE 10 research lab (Copenhagen). Winner of The Nova Art Prize with a following group show at “New Holland” (St. Petersburg, 2019). Participant of the 6th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (Moscow, 2015) and the 3rd Moscow International Biennale for Young Art (Moscow, 2012), “New Sankt Petersburg” in NIEUW DAKOTA (Amsterdam, 2013), “Analysis of Research” at MMOMA (Moscow 2013) and “Elastic Arts'' at The Museum and Galleries of Contemporary Art Erarta (St. Petersburg, 2013).
She has a strong interest in the point where emergent technologies, art and biology meet, which opportunities it gives us and what kind of a new aesthetics materialises at the intersection of artificial and natural.
